My Kind of Morning

Good Morning All!

This morning was a comfortable morning for me. I had some time to sit down and relax and browse through a magazine... definitely my kind of morning.

For anyone that knows me knows I am always in my robe. The one I had on this morning is actually an old one. Lovie bought me a nice new one for Christmas but it had baby spit-up or something on it so it's in the wash. I'm so glad I have two robes now! The more the merrier I say. I am the only person I know who actually wears a robe around the house, but I totally do and I actually have for years. I (usually) am fully dressed underneath and wear it simply like an adult snuggle blanket. I feel naked without it sometimes. It's just so stinking comfortable.

I got my new BGH issue in and it had a bonus little recipe magazine. The recipe magazine actually didn't have any recipes I was interested in making this time. The BGH magazine had some really cute ideas that I might use for Father's Day or Grandparents' Day (which I'll share later if that's what I end up doing).

Another favorite part of my morning: Maxwell House =). I don't drink coffee every morning and I definitely don't drink more than one cup, but I do really enjoy it when I get to sit down and enjoy a warm cup of coffee. And I found the perfect thing for that...

Maxwell House Coffee Singles. Oh. My. Goodness. Why have I never seen these before? I found them in the clearance section at Target so it's possible I won't ever see them again, but in my opinion they are such a good idea! It's coffee in a tea bag so you can brew just one cup. Cheaper than K-Cups and it isn't instant coffee. (I'm not an coffee connoisseur by any means, but I'm not a fan of instant coffee).

Lastly, I recently bought the Essie Sleek Sticks in Stickers and Stones. I wasn't sure how I was going to like it because my nails are so short (from biting) but I wanted to stop biting so I figured I'd give it a try.

I am really happy with how they worked! My nails are clearly super short so I was able to cut the strips in half and get 3 manicures out of one box- awesomeness! They are really easy to put on and I didn't have any problems with them coming off until I was ready to pull them off (which was about a week for each time I used them). I heard you can't cut the Sally Hansen ones so that's why I went with Essie. I cut them down the middle, put them on, then used nail clippers to cut the extra off so they were to my nail length. I will definitely be getting some of the different designs soon! I am a little bummed that Essie doesn't offer as much variety as the Sally Hansen ones. Oh well.

What are your thoughts on nail applique's? Have you tried Essie and/or Sally Hansen before?
