Hello There! 

 I’m Janet.

  

I’m 20something, just barely 5’2”, was born and raised in Northern Virginia, and looking forward to moving (once lovie gets back from deployment). I have had the same best friend since second grade and our friendship has taught me priceless things about all the values one needs to make a relationship last, so thank you for that best friend! I also met Erik, my lovie, in middle school. He is my cousin’s best friend so we knew each other growing up, well I should say knew of each other… he was scared to talk to me haha. It wasn’t until long after he joined the military that we started dating. Soon after that I graduated with a B.A. in Business Management and worked in food service management, which I loved. But currently I am staying at home with our little man, Galen, and doing projects here and there for people I’ve met.

Now here’s the list of random facts I know you’re just dyyying to see ;)

I take my showers in the dark, with a candle lit. It is my quiet time and when I do my best thinking and praying. Yes, I love Jesus! I make lists about everything, I like to plan, and I LOVE to budget. Seriously, it’s a little counterproductive at times because I’ll want to go shopping just so I can do more budgeting. Many of my friends call me crafty, I call it experimenting. When I get inspired it tends to consume me until I complete the task, example- I read The Hunger Games books in 3 days. All of them. Once I start something I just have to keep going. That was before my son was born though, I couldn’t just drop everything and read that much now. I plan parties and menus for people and wish I could do it everyday! Oh, and my hair is constantly in a state of change, I feel like it’s always in that awkward phase because I cut it and grow it out so much.

As you’ll notice in my blog I try to stick to things as natural as possible and like to use what I have. I’m all about saving da moolah.
