Easy Bathroom DIY Updates

Hi Everyone!

I realized that I haven't shared the little updates I made to my bathroom that we really love and were really cheap and easy (my kinda DIY). I did this a few months before my little man was born.

This is our little bathroom. It's pretty tiny so it's difficult to move about to take a good picture and it's difficult to get proper lighting but I did the best I could. We're renting so we can't paint or anything so we're stuck with construction white. Lovie actually picked out the shower curtain. He did a good job. It's super cute and bright, just like I like it, but he didn't want actual flowers or anything so we found a nice masculine botanical print. It's DKNY from Home Goods.

This wall art DIY project took less than an hour. I used Microsoft Word to create the print and manually adjusted the colors of the letters in a random pattern using greens and a gray that matched the bathroom. Then printed on computer paper and popped into dollar store frames. The quote/poem-ish thing I came up with myself after browsing Pinterest for hours.

The basket it also from Home Goods and the little ceramic birdie is from Michael's.

Another easy little project that helped solve a storage problem. It wasn't until we moved here that I realized I have a LOT of bathroom products. Which is why I needed to do this. I have our towels in a cute basket right outside the bathroom so I used this towel rod as a place to store a few more items I use. The galvanized buckets were in the dollar spot at Target and I replaced the ribbon while tying it over the rod so they hang.

It's really nice to hold my lighter for my candle, razors, the PedEgg, and other random things I use but don't keep in the medicine cabinet or under the sink. I dig it.

Could your bathroom use a little sprucing up? Or a "day of beauty" as my Uncle would say.
