Snowy Weather

Hello!

I am still with the lovie as his unit prepares for deployment and today when I went to pick him up for lunch it was snowing!

We haven't had any snow at home yet and it was lovely to see nice fluffy snow on the ground. Expect I really don't like driving in it. I managed to make it the 2mi it is to his unit from the hotel but after that I was done and he took the wheel to get us to the restaurant and back. And there I remained to hang out until he done for the evening.

I was hoping we would get to go to IKEA (!) but unfortunately the weather has other ideas so I will have to save the IKEA trip for when I am back home with either my friend or my aunt, or both! That's okay though because lovie really doesn't enjoy it as much as us girls do and he makes fun of me because I genuinely love eating their meatballs and sauce every time I go!

When I do get the chance to make it up there I am in the market for a king size foam mattress, bedding for said mattress, some removable wall decals since we are renters, possibly some kiddie toys and gadgets, and anything else that gets my wheels turning! I also want to check out the As Is section to see if there are any fabulous furniture pieces I can tweak for cheap. But for now all that is on hold as I relax and spend the last few days with lovie before he heads out and enjoy some much needed me time away from the little man.

Hopefully we will get some winter weather back home as well!
